Policies are also available for mobile homes used as your primary residence. A lot of the coverage’s available to you for your comprehensive homeowner’s policies are available on trailers as well.

What We Insure
A fifth-wheel trailer has the following characteristics:
- Similar to the conventional model, but has a raised forward section above a fifth wheel coupling device, creating a unique bilevel dimension.
- Ranges from 21 to 38 feet in length.
- Using a truck to tow allows for trailer designs up to 38 feet in length.
- Specially designed devices are generally mounted to pickup beds.
- Built on a welded steel chassis.
- Contains luxuries such as a large living area, all appliances, and bathing, cooking and sleeping facilities.
A pop-up camper (also called a pop-up tent trailer) has the following characteristics:
- Constructed with collapsible sidewalls that fold or slide down for easy towing by a light vehicle.
- Typically less than 12 feet long; ranges from 15 to 23 feet (when opened).
- Compact size allows for quick setup at destination.
- Very basic with few luxuries.
- Larger unit may contain a refrigerator, stove and/or furnace, and may sleep up to eight people.
A conventional trailer has the following characteristics:
- Designed for vacation/camping use.
- Ranges from 12 to 40 feet in length.
- Towed by an automobile or truck with a bumper hitch.
- Equipped with bathing, cooking and sleeping facilities.
- May have additional options such as air conditioning and awnings.
A mounted truck camper has the following characteristics:
- Designed as temporary vacation camping unit that is loaded onto a pickup truck bed.
- Ranges from 18 to 21 feet in length.
- Typically sleeps up to six people.
- Compact size makes the truck camper versatile, manageable and convenient for local travel to and from campsite.
- Easy, economical way for many first-timers to begin RVing.
Recreational Park Model Trailers are seasonal occupied, manufactured as a park model and are permanently parked. The chassis is not removed. They are usually no more than 50 feet in length, and fully skirted. They can have decks, porches, or additional rooms added to the structure. Include these additional structures in the value when rating.
A trailer with recreational cargo quarters has the following characteristics:
- These are specific types of travel trailers or fifth-wheel trailers.
- Must have a special compartment in the back to transport horses, ATVs, etc.
